The Advanced Professional Development Adviser (Advanced PDA) training, forms part of the PDAs and E-Guides eCPD programmes. It is aligned to the revised eCPD framework and has been designed to support effective use of technology in teaching and learning across the whole learning and skills sector. It fulfils part of the Institute for Learning’s (IfL’s) 30 hour (or pro rata) CPD requirement and meets the teaching standards and Ofsted inspection requirements.
Places for 2009/2010 courses have now been filled. However if a colleague in your organisation or partner organisation has already received PDA or Advanced PDA training, part of their role is to cascade training and support within their organisation. To find out who the PDA or Advanced PDA is to arrange in-house training and support, please enquire internally or post a question via the OLS Forum area.
An online multimedia resource version of the PDAs eCPD programme will also be available in 2010 for supported self study on the Online Learning Space. Further details will be available in due course.
